Regional Sales Director, North America

Responsibilities:

Carrier Sales – Direct: Develop a sales plan to penetrate the Tier 1 & 2 North American Wireless Carriers with the full Unity Wireless product suite.

Distributor Sales: Develop a sales plan to penetrate the Tier 1 & 2 North American Wireless Distributors with the full Unity Wireless product suite.

In all areas:

  • Prospect, and sell directly to these key accounts and manage the relationship including assisting the factory and marketing with feedback and input on:
    o Required process development
    o Product road map
    o Standards and approvals
  • Respond to RFQs for new product development by working with marketing and engineering to create a reasonable business case for new projects or modifications which can be presented to the PAC (Product Acceptance Committee) for approval and project initiation
  • Achieve/over achieve quarterly revenue targets

Administrative and reporting

  • Create and submit an annual territory sales budget based on the corporate template
  • Participate in all meetings and seminars as required
  • Support Corporate on A/R collections, RMA processing, and general customer interaction
  • Submit timely activity reports, expense reports, and other reporting functions as required

Preferred Experience:

  • Degree or technical diploma in an RF related field
  • Extensive North American Tier 1 Carrier contacts
  • Back ground in microwave, repeaters, tower line products and/or FSO
  • Extensive Sr. Corporate Account sales and Channel Management experience
  • Home office, self motivated, able to travel >50% of the time, very high energy, strategic thinker, strong communicator, very organized, ability to effectively operate in less than optimal situations –finding own solutions and running with them.
