Unity Wireless Begins Deliveries to Vietnam’s Largest Wireless Carrier - MobiFone HANOI, VIETNAM & BELLINGHAM, WA April 4, 2007 -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB: UTYW), and it’s regional integration partner, Indo-China Technologies (IC), today announced that delivery of the second order for the company’s 20 watt frequency shifting repeaters to Vietnam’s largest wireless carrier, VMS’s MobiFone, has commenced. As announced in a December 13, 2006 release, this second order followed quickly on the heels of the successful deployment of a first round of repeaters in the fourth quarter of 2006. Vietnam Mobile Telecom Services Company (VMS), a state-owned company under Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, and operating under the brand name MobiFone, is the largest network operator in Vietnam with 5 million subscribers and 1,500 base stations. "We are very well positioned for continued growth in this rapidly developing South East Asian market with our strong regional integration partner, Indo-China Technologies (IC), and robust, cost competitive repeaters at a key time in Vietnam’s wireless industry development," commented Michael Manor, EVP Sales – Coverage Enhancement Solutions at Unity Wireless. Vietnam added 4.3 million wireless subscribers in the first 11 months of 2005, according to the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, raising the total number of mobile telephone subscribers in the country to 14.6 million. Mr. Son and Mr. Quang, co-owners of Indo-China Technologies (IC) said, "We are obviously pleased with the ongoing orders from Vietnam’s largest wireless network operator. The installation and commissioning of these repeaters are often in challenging locations with minimal infrastructure. The skills of our integration team, combined with the quality of the Unity repeaters, have resulted in the ongoing success of this project." Mr. Manor added, "Vietnam and Indonesia continue to grow in sales and importance for Unity Wireless. We are also seeing solid developments with key players in Taiwan and Thailand. We anticipate that South East Asia will also soon deliver opportunities in our point to point and TMA lines, further accelerating our revenue growth in this market."
