Motorola India Selects Unity Wireless Unity’s Line of "In-Building Wireless Repeaters" Designed to Satisfy Fastest Growing Segment of Coverage Enhancement Solutions in Worldwide Markets DELHI, INDIA & BELLINGHAM, WA--Apr 12, 2007 -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB:UTYW), together with their regional partner Frog Cellsat Pvt. Ltd., today announced that Motorola India selected Unity’s indoor repeaters as part of the infrastructure build out for a Delhi based wireless network operator. The indoor repeaters will extend coverage and improve signal strength for key areas. The indoor repeater market is one of the fastest growing segments in the coverage enhancement solution market in both North America and overseas markets. As the use of wireless voice and data within large urban buildings increases, carriers are launching massive in-building coverage build out projects. "In-building coverage is increasingly critical to the widespread expansion of wireless applications, and we feel Unity Wireless is uniquely positioned to take advantage of these market trends" said Michael Manor, EVP, Coverage Solutions for Unity Wireless. "Unity’s line of in-building repeaters includes low, medium, and high power systems. The product’s integrated single board design, built with the environmental extremes of Unity’s markets in Russia, Asia, and North America in mind, offers both reliability, ease of install, and cost benefits not found in competitive products" said Nissim Atias, Unity’s President and COO. "Better brand image, wide local support, and a very robust system were the contributing factors that allowed us to win this significant opportunity with one of the world’s most respected clients," said Konark Trivedi, President and CEO of Frog Cellsat Pvt. Ltd., Unity’s Service and Sales partner in India. About Unity Wireless Forward Looking Statements Investor Contact: |
